Our 3-bedroomed detached cottage comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests, and provides a unique opportunity to enjoy breathtaking seaviews to the front and moorland behind,
Burnside Cottage, originally built in the 1880s, was once the local post office and still has a post box in the wall. It has recently been restored with a contemporary feel.
The cottage comprises a spacious and fully-equipped kitchen/dinner with a wooden dining table seating six. This leads to the cosy sitting room with 2 sofas and a multi-fuel stove, the ideal place to while away the cold Scottish evenings, there is a large picture window giving views out towards Lochbay.
There are 3 bedrooms, all with views towards the sea. The master has a king size bed and ensuite bathroom. There is also a twin/double bedroom and a third room equipped with bunk beds (perfect for the kids) both these rooms share the family bathroom.
The whole house is double glazed and centrally heated. The cottage is also equipped with a washing machine and tumble drier.
A small enclosed garden with a patio and picnic table is an great spot to sit and enjoy the fantastic scenery.
Its the perfect base after a long day hiking , cycling or simply watching the ever changing skies.

Please note:
Pets are welcome but a maximum of 2 per booking on the understanding that they are not allowed on the furniture or left alone in the cottage.
The cottage is almost divided into 2 sides with the en-suite double bedroom being separated from the rest of the house by the kitchen and sitting room and out of earshot of the rest of the house. For families with very small children it would be best to sleep in the twin bedroom which is adjacent to the children´s room.
The cottage is strictly non smoking throughout
