The cottage stands on the far North West coast of the Isle of Skye, which remains one of the most unspoiled areas of Europe. Where, if you have the time and patience, rare wildlife can be spotted in its natural habitat. In August we often walk to the end of Waternish point and have been lucky on a calm day to spot dolphins and minke whales. But even if you don't manage to catch a glimpse of a sea eagle or an elusive otter the scenery outside the door always takes your breath away
One of our guests took all the wildlife photographs below last year on her holiday at the cottage. Many thanks Ginny!
